We have guest maximums of:
ʻOhana Cottage ~ up to two people; 1 king bed
Whale Watch Suite ~ recommended for two people, but can accommodate up to four people with an additional $65/person per night fee for occupant 3 & 4; 1 king bed / 1 queen bed
Our accommodations are suitable for
guests 12 years of age and older.
We ask that our guests enjoy a minimum stay of
three nights for ample relaxation and enjoyment
of this luscious environment.

Whale Watch Suite additional guest fee of $65/night when adding a 3rd or 4th occupant.
Stays 7 days or longer receive an 11% discount.

There is a high volume of tourist traffic on the Hana Highway and may significantly extend your travel time.

Hanapapalani’s Statement of Commitment to Create a Safe Environment
It is important to us that Hanapapalani provides a safe environment for our guests. We work to continuously implement cleaning practices and recommendations to address sanitation concerns, other protocols to maintain a safe environment, and local community awareness.
- Review and follow the Cleaning and Accommodation Practices Checklists found in your vacation rental space.
- The tropics force us to coexist with geckos and insect, not by invitation they slip into accommodations at times, to avoid, close all doors quickly, behind you
- Compost bucket provided for food waste
- Electronic mosquito devices are provided in the cottages
- Citronella candles are located in screened outdoors spaces, on a ceramic plate
- Bug spray is provided in bathroom vanity
- Cleaning products are provided under kitchen sink
- Permanently secured screen doors and fans are built into each unit, with maximum airflow consideration. There is no a/c, but additional floor fans are provided upon request
